Identity Design
The GodDamn River is a fun, rootsy, hard picking bluegrass band that wanted a logo inspired by Ray Troll’s work with the band Leftover Salmon. The band name is a gambling reference so we also wanted to reflect that notion. Old school, stylized lettering seemed the perfect feeling for something that would look just as comfortable on a deck of cards as an album sleeve.
My mood boards to establish style and tone intentionally included other genres to inspire some fresh discussions about direction.
